Objectives

1. Recognize best practices for classroom instruction and active learning strategies applicable to medical physics education.

2. Identify techniques for assessing student learning.

3. Evaluate educational methods within residency mentoring and clinical education.

4. Explore ways to be an educator outside of traditional medical physics education roles.

5. Recognize unconscious bias in teaching and mentoring.

6. Review updates in educational initiatives and opportunities within AAPM.

7. Discuss concepts and identify ways to apply understanding through small group discussions throughout the meeting.
