Jennifer Lynn Johnson, MBA, PhD, FAAPM is a consulting medical physicist through her business Potentia Partners. Dr. Johnson earned her doctoral degree in Healthcare Management and Policy from the University of Texas School of Public Health in 2017 and her MBA in Business and Healthcare Administration from the University of Houston in 2007. She received her MS degree from the University of Kentucky in 1997. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiological Physics (DABR). She worked as a medical physicist in Hartford, CT, Wellington, New Zealand and Houston, TX where she served as Director of Safety in UT MD Anderson Cancer Center Radiation Physics and Senior Director with Landauer Medical Physics. Dr. Johnson currently practices as an independent consultant. Dr. Johnson has been serving the American Association of Physicists in Medicine since 2009 in various subcommittees, working groups, task groups, and standing committees in addition to its Board of Directors as a Board Member-at-Large and chair of the Audit committee. She was elected to AAPM’s Fellowship in 2016. She is also a member of both the American Society for Radiation Oncology, American College of Radiology, and American College of Healthcare Executives. Dr. Johnson has numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations at conferences.
