AAPM has seen an increasing number of women and minority physicists join our ranks over time but there continues to be a shortage of diversity reflected in leadership positions professionally and in AAPM. All physicists are welcome to join this interactive, virtual leadership meeting, where the primary focus will be on developing skill sets for women and minority physicists. The workshop will include sessions on topics to enhance skills in leadership, career management, goal setting, managing difficult situations, and more.

The primary goal of this meeting is to provide knowledge, skills, and encouragement to foster opportunities for more women and minority leaders in medical physics and provide networking opportunities with each other and with leaders in the field. Participants will be inspired to learn how to define their career objectives and then make concrete progress on those goals.
