Objectives

  • 1. Provide a venue for women and underrepresented mid-level physicists to gain tools needed to advance in the field
  • 2. Share methods and strategies for increasing the knowledge of participants in areas of leadership
  • 3. Discuss opportunities and processes for implementing tools learned during the conference into practice
  • 4. Share methods for advancing leadership within AAPM
  • 5. Share techniques for leveraging the participants' diverse identities as an opportunity for connection and networking
  • 6. Inform the diverse participants of the work on equity, diversity and inclusion that is being done within AAPM and how gender equitable our field is at the graduate level
