The AAPM Innovations in QA Specialty Meeting will be held from October 28-29, 2024. In this virtual meeting, the attendees will learn about new technologies and tools in QA science from an expert group of physicists and vendors in the field. Speakers will demonstrate how using new automated tools and vendor-provided tools can lead to efficiencies in c-arm linac QA programs. We will discuss how innovative technology can transform and simplify Daily, Monthly, and Annual QA procedures. The meeting will also focus on how to work with vendors to establish transparent communication and additional information exchange, including the process vendors follow to establish FDA approval for QA devices. Finally, we hope the physicists attending this conference will learn tactics, tricks, discoveries, and trends from other physicists doing QA through well-designed break-out rooms.
