Purpose: To evaluate the location, types, and hemodynamic variation of coronary artery with anomalies origin by 128-slice Siemens dual-source computed tomography.
Methods: A total number of 14820 coronary CTA were carried out in Hospital. According to Greenberg classification method, CTA images with abnormal origin were screened out(excluding myocardial bridging). The epidemic characters of sex, clinical symptoms,ECG, coronary atherosclerosis with coronary artery with anomalous origin were analyzed retrospectively. The correlation was analyzed between the atherosclerosis incidence and the characters of anomalous right coronary artery originating from the left coronary sinus with interarterial course, including the variation trend of the aortic-pulmonary artery space, take off angle, proximal and distal diameter of right coronary artery during the cardiac cycle. The results were analyzed by chi-square and Fisher exact test. P value <0.05 was considered to indicate a statistically significant. All statistical data were analysed with SPSS 26.0 software.
Results: 244 patient (1.6464%)with anomalous origin of coronary were reviewed in 14,820 patient.139 patient(57%)with anomalous origin of the right coronary artery were most common in 244 patient. Sex(P=0.672),clinical symptoms(P=0.181),ECG abnormalities(P=0.171) with abnormal origin of coronary artery had no statistically significant with normal origin. The atherosclerosis incidence with ipsilateral anomalous coronary artery origination is not significant higher than that with normal coronary arteries origination(P=0.038).The atherosclerosis incidence with right coronary artery originating from the left coronary sinus with interarterial course is not significant correlated with the variation rate of take off angle(P=0.806), the aortic-pulmonary space(P=0.670),the proximal diameter (P=0.671) and the distal diameter (P=0.099) during the cardiac circle.
Conclusion: Coronary CTA can accurate and noninvasive assess depiction of coronary artery origin anomalies of location, types;especially in delineating the ostial origin and proximal path of an anomalous coronary more advantages.
