The New Professionals Subcommittee (NPSC) offers a New Member Symposium (NMS) at each Summer Meeting in order to provide information about how to become involved with AAPM and how to deal with issues that students, trainees, and anyone new to the AAPM organization are faced with. This summer we invite you to come with your questions about how to search for a job, become a team member, and how to become a volunteer for AAPM.

AAPM President James Dobbins will discuss leadership of the AAPM, and a panel of experts will discuss topics relevant to AAPM's volunteer organization: Frederic Fahey, Chair of Administrative Council, Joann Prisciandaro, Chair of Education Council, Jatinder Palta, Chair of International Council, Brent Parker, Chair Professional Council Chair, Jan Seuntjens, Chair of Science Council. A question and answer will follow to discuss your interests, concerns, and ideas.

Learning Objectives:
1. Gain familiarity of the leadership structure of the AAPM
2. Explore how to become involved in committees in AAPM and in AAPM leadership
3. Gain understanding of new initiatives and future directions in each AAPM council
