Radiopharmaceutical Therapy (RPT) is becoming more common due to the development of new treatments and drugs. Doctors and specialists from both Radiation Oncology and Nuclear Medicine are showing interest in learning about and using this therapy in their clinics. While there are efforts to add more training on radiopharmaceuticals programs, there is a big gap in providing proper training for medical physicists in this area.

The 2025 AAPM Spring Clinical Meeting is offering Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Workshops with hands-on training on Friday, March 28th.

Workshops will be scheduled from 9:00am – 12:00pm and will repeat at 1:30pm – 4:30pm.  The following companies will be providing the workshops:

• MIM
• Voximetry

You have an opportunity to attend two workshops (one in the morning and one in the afternoon).

The fee per person is $125 for members and $250 for non-members.  To register, please click here.

Med PhysXplorers is an event sponsored by the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and is available for young adults, ages 12–17 years old. Approximately 30 students will have the unique opportunity to learn about medical physics, tour our exhibit show floor, which will be guided by a diverse group of medical physicist mentors, and participate in science activities geared towards learning about physics concepts that support our dynamic field!
