Advanced image guidance and integrated treatment planning systems have enabled multi-modality online adaptive radiotherapy applications. This session covers the complete implementation of online adaptive therapy from project inception to go-live for MR-, CT- and CBCT – based image guided adaptive therapy. Education, implementation, commissioning and clinical experiences with adaptive therapy will be discussed. The impact of RO-APM on treatment accuracy, efficiency, and cost of adaptive radiation therapy will also presented.

Learning Objectives:
1. Describe the definition of adaptive radiotherapy, the design of online/offline process using current imaging modalities, and the advantages and disadvantages of the imaging used.
2. Describe the critical steps and personnel involvement in the adaptive process.
3. How to design an effective QA and QC program for an adaptive radiotherapy.
4. Understand the implications and impact of RO-APM might have towards resource heavy workflows such as adaptive radiation therapy.
