Medical Physicists

The AAPM 65th Annual Meeting & Exhibition has been approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs, Inc. (CAMPEP) for 259.75 MPCEC hours which includes Review Courses and 8 hours of General Poster Viewing.

To obtain MPCEC, and/or MDCB Credit, attendees must attend or view each session in its entirety and complete the online evaluation.

Presentations will be made available On-Demand via our virtual meeting platform approx. 24-hours after their scheduled time, providing registrants the opportunity to view sessions they may have missed at their convenience and earn additional credits.

On-Demand viewing will be tracked electronically.

Registration Badge ID and Last Name will be required to access the Online CEC Evaluation System.

Registered Guests are not eligible for Continuing Education Credits.

After the Meeting:
  • Following the close of the online CEC evaluation system on September 7, 2023, at 11:59 PM ET, AAPM will provide CAMPEP with participant contact information, credits earned, and the appropriate processing fees for individual participants to access their personal 65th Annual Meeting & Exhibition transcript via the CAMPEP online MPCEC Repository database. Participants will not receive a hardcopy CAMPEP transcript. Should a participant require a hard copy transcript, they may order it directly from CAMPEP. Click here for more information.

Continuing Education Program Objectives:
  1. Review basic knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
  2. Conduct sessions on the current state of the art and standards of practice.
  3. Provide a peer interchange forum for exchanging information and concepts.

CEC Evaluation System is now closed. Credits will be released to attendees on SEPTEMBER 18, 2023.

CONTINUED ON-DEMAND ACCESS FOR REGISTERED ATTENDEES
As an added benefit of registration, On-Demand recordings will be available via the meeting platform for up to a year. After that time selected content will be moved into the Virtual Library.

FOR NON-REGISTRANTS
Non-Registrants, regardless of AAPM membership status, will be able to access meeting content via the AAPM Virtual Library after particular intervals of time:

  • AAPM members — One (1) year post-meeting.
  • Non-members — Two (2) years post-meeting.

Medical Dosimetrists

AAPM will apply to the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) for approval of MDCB CMD credits for the 65th Annual Meeting & Exhibition. To obtain credit, attendees must attend/view each session in their entirety and complete an online evaluation survey. Registration Badge ID and CMD Number are required.  On-Demand viewing is tracked electronically.  AAPM will report the credits earned to the MDCB on September 18, 2023.

Online Evaluation

The Online Evaluation system will remain open until Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 11:59 PM ET.

To obtain credit, attendees must complete an online evaluation survey.

Evaluations MUST be completed by that time for credits to be earned. After the close of the Online Evaluation System, registrants will be contacted with instructions for viewing their meeting transcript via the CAMPEP website. The transcript will list a description of the sessions and the number of continuing education credits obtained.

Credits will be released by September 18, 2023.
