Up to 8 credits total

To obtain MPCEC, SAM, MDCB, and/or ASRT CAT A Credit, attendees must attend or view each session in its entirety and complete the online evaluation.

Presentations will be made available On-Demand via our virtual meeting platform approx. 24-hours after their scheduled time, providing registrants the opportunity to view sessions they may have missed at their convenience.

On-Demand viewing will be tracked electronically. See the Post-Meeting Access section below for more details.

Please Note: ASRT has modified the criteria for earning credits for On-Demand content. AAPM will not apply for CAT A Credits for sessions viewed On-Demand.

Registration Badge ID and Last Name will be required to access the Online CEC Evaluation System.

Registered Guests are not eligible for Continuing Education Credits.

After the Meeting:
  • Following the close of the online CEC evaluation system on August 25, 2022 at 11:59 PM ET, AAPM will provide CAMPEP with participant contact information, credits earned, and the appropriate processing fees for individual participants to access their personal 64th Annual Meeting & Exhibition transcript via the CAMPEP online MPCEC Repository database. Participants will not receive a hardcopy CAMPEP transcript. Should a participant require a hard copy transcript, they may order it directly from CAMPEP. Click here for more information.
  • Credits will be released to attendees on September 8, 2022.
Continuing Education Program Objectives:
  1. Review basic knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
  2. Conduct sessions on the current state of the art and standards of practice.
  3. Provide a peer interchange forum for exchanging information and concepts.

CEC Evaluation System is now closed. Credits will be released to attendees on September 8, 2022.

POST-MEETING ACCESS FOR REGISTERED ATTENDEES

As an added benefit of registration, On-Demand recordings will be available during the meeting and for up to six-weeks post via the virtual meeting platform.

After the six-week period, recordings will be moved from the platform to the 64th Annual Meeting & Exhibition website.

The process for earning Continuing Education Credits is outlined below:

For Sessions Attended/Viewed July 10 through August 25, 2022:

Earning credits is easy! Registrants are eligible to receive CAMPEP MPCEC, ABR Self-Assessment Module (SAM), MDCB CMD, and/or ASRT CAT A credits, as applicable for designated content, upon completing the online evaluation.

Remember: ASRT CAT A credits will not be available for sessions viewed On-Demand.

What makes it easy? Registrants who complete their evaluations during this period will do so with no pass/fail quiz requirement.

All evaluations must be completed no later than Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 11:59 PM ET.

For Sessions Viewed After August 25, 2022:

Once meeting content has been moved to this website, registrants can continue to earn MPCEC and SAM.

Earning credits is a bit more complex. To successfully earn MPCEC or SAM, a registrant:
  1. Must correctly answer quiz questions with a 100% pass rate (i.e., pass/fail format); and
  2. Cannot attempt to pass the same quiz again for 24-hours if unsuccessful.

FOR NON-REGISTRANTS

Non-Registrants, regardless of AAPM membership status, will be able to access meeting content via the AAPM Virtual Library for free after particular intervals of time:
  • AAPM members — One (1) year post-meeting.
  • Non-members — Two (2) years post-meeting.

Want access to 64th Annual Meeting & Exhibition content earlier?

No problem! Post-Meeting Access will be available for purchase to both AAPM members and non-members after August 25.

Please Note: With the purchase of Post-Meeting Access, both AAPM members and non-members are eligible to earn MPCEC and SAM through successful quiz completion as described above.

MOC/SAM

Many AAPM members now require Maintenance of Certification (MOC) as defined by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). SAM are not required but can be used to meet the ABR self-assessment continuing education requirements (SA-CME). AAPM will offer 84 SAM (SA-CME) ABR approved sessions.

To provide increased SAM offerings and to allow the maximum time for speakers to adequately cover presentation content, SAM questions are no longer embedded therein, so audience interaction is not needed.

To successfully obtain SA-CE credit:
  • Indicate the need for MOC/SAM during registration.
  • For In-Person — Attend the SAM session in its entirety (attendance is tracked via beacon technology).
  • For On-Demand — View the SAM session recording in its entirety (attendance is tracked electronically online).
  • After attending/viewing sessions in their entirety, SAM questions associated with the session must be answered in the Online CEC Evaluation System anytime during the meeting and/or up to six-weeks post-meeting.
  • SAM quizzes during this period are not scored on a pass/fail basis, but all questions for a respective session must be answered to earn credit.
  • Responses are a self-assessment of knowledge gained during designated sessions. Attendees will be provided with an aggregate of how others responded to each question overall in the evaluation system.
  • The Online Evaluation system will remain open until Thursday August 25, 2022, at 11:59 PM ET. Evaluations MUST be completed by that time for credits to be earned.

Please Note: SAM sessions are open to all meeting attendees. Individuals who do not need SA-CE credits can attend the sessions and complete the online evaluation to obtain MPCEC credit only. SAM questions are not provided to non-SAM participants.

Forgot to add SAM? No problem! You can purchase the item by modifying your registration via the Dashboard.

EVALUATE IN REAL TIME!

  • Use a personal smartphone, tablet, or laptop to access the Online Evaluation System, evaluate a session, and complete SAM questions in real time during the session.
  • Attendees will have access to SAM questions prior to and during the meeting.

SAM Questions

SAM quiz questions will be available for viewing before each SAM session starts.
