This session will focus on various aspects of the rapidly evolving topic of theranostics. The current state of practice is focused on internally administered, biologically targeted radioactive materials without or with additional external beam boosting. These talks will attempt to lay a foundation for the current state of the art and near future opportunities for theranostics.

Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the principle of theranostics.
2. Raise awareness of the "state-of-the-art" in nuclear theranostics.
3. Outline next generation opportunities for radiation based therapy.
